Ontario is a big place.  You may be reading this posting after enjoying a day of fairly decent outdoor weather.  There is also an equally good chance that there is some very cold weather where you are living, too!  Mostly, it depends not only on  your physical location, but on what your perspective is, as well.  Ontario is an exceptionally big place when compared to the rest of the world.

Well, I went for the GED testing the other day and found out how much I forgot about highschool math and sciences and if you don’t use the knowledge with your work you forget it.

When a person receives their monthly financial assistance payment via direct bank deposit or traditional cheque, they will receive a receipt.  This form – a cheque stub, essentially – lists your name, address, and identification number, and below this is information on how the pay was calculated; a basic ledger sheet.  The total gross amount that you are eligible for is actually arrived at by adding two separate sections called Basic Needs, and Shelter.  Deductions are taken from the total of this amount, and what is left over is what you are expected to live on.
