I am very glad that I was able to rely upon Ontario Works when I was suffering a devastating illness. I received a lot of good strong administrative support and help to get me to where I needed to be at the time.

Need Money to Make Money

I am a recipient of welfare; mothers allowance, not by choice but as a last alternative. My ex-husband left me in debt close to $30,000 dollars, they even re-po’d my car as he never kept up with the payments. He doesn’t pay child support and when he does it’s not the proper or full amount although I am through the Family Responsibility Office, they can’t take away his license or garnish wages ( he does his own books) unless he is in arrears over $500 and he keeps it just below that. I was never granted spousal support, either.

Ontario is a big place.  You may be reading this posting after enjoying a day of fairly decent outdoor weather.  There is also an equally good chance that there is some very cold weather where you are living, too!  Mostly, it depends not only on  your physical location, but on what your perspective is, as well.  Ontario is an exceptionally big place when compared to the rest of the world.
