The Ontario Works Experience site is designed to initiate discussion about Ontario’s welfare and social assistance system.

People have different experiences with the system.  All opinions and viewpoints are welcomed, within the limits of the law.  Open discussion is welcomed, but please remember to respect the opinions of others – even if you disagree.

We are always looking for contributors – people who are willing to share their knowledge and personal experiences with poverty.   The more people talk about the poverty experience, the more others will be able to understand.

If you would like to be a contributor to the Ontario Works Experience, please register for an account here.  You will receive an anonymous account from which you can directly compose your articles and thoughts to send to the editor for approval.  After being reviewed, your words will be posted on this site.
